Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Violence Free Futures. Volunteering with Violence Free Futures offers an opportunity to make a significant impact beyond what you might anticipate. We deeply appreciate the dedication of our volunteers in providing essential support to the survivors under our care.
Why Volunteer? Violence Free Futures thrives because of the kind support of our volunteers. We rely on volunteers to help fulfill daily, weekly, and monthly tasks. Violence Free Futures needs volunteers to help in both direct and indirect service capacities.

Ways To Volunteer
Whether you are interested in children, cooking or clerical work, we have the volunteer opportunity for you!
Administrative Support
Provide reception area activities including greeting visitors, answering phones & providing clerical assistance including other helpful projects as needed.
Child Development Support
Provide supportive child development services to children.
Cleaning Support
Helps with deep cleaning of residential & administrative areas.
Community Partners /Speakers Bureau
Act as agency representatives at events by providing general information about Violence Free Futures & domestic violence. Must feel comfortable with public speaking.
“Friends” Program
Act as a mentor/friend to a current survivor by spending time together, communicating on a regular basis & providing ongoing, experienced support to an individual on her/his way to a non-violent life.
Grocery Shopping
Shops for the center once a month or sign up as a substitute shopper.
Grounds Keeper
Maintains the exterior of the facility including trash pickup, weeding, gardening & other care for flowerbeds.
Kitchen Support
Prepares, serves, and cleans up for lunch & dinner in our Safe House.
On Call Moving Team
Assists with picking up household items being donated to Violence Free Futures & delivery of items to clients’ new homes.
Special Event Support
Assists with Violence Free Futures’s fundraising & awareness efforts by serving on a committee and/or volunteering at events.
Tutoring
Provides educational assistance to children in various subject areas.
