Safe Housing

We Will Help You Get Back On Your Feet

Violence Free Futures provides immediate housing and safety for victims of domestic and sexual violence and their children.  We can provide shelter for up to 32 clients. All personal amenities are provided while in the housing program including food, transportation, case management and goal planning, child care for scheduled appointments and access to other agency programs. Families remain in shelter for a transitional period determined on a case-by case-basis.

This facility provides additional counseling space for residential and outreach clients needing services, as well as, a commercial kitchen, a fenced in play area for the children, a secured site, and a state of the art security system. The facility is fully handicapped accessible. Our shelter is pet-friendly if there is space available. Your advocates will explain the pet-friendly program structure. Two companion animals (pets) will be considered per family, if the space is available. If the space is not available, other plans will be discussed, including potential for family to temporarily care for them, possible foster programs or kenneling. A list of items to bring for the pets will also be covered.  Service Animals and Emotional Support Animals are always welcome.

We also offer aftercare services for clients who have been shelter residents. Aftercare can involve case management or a support group. For more information, call 937.426.2334.
